PPARγ is the most widely studied and has been implicated in the pathology of numerous diseases including obesity, diabetes, atherosclerosis and cancer.2 PPARγ is primarily expressed in adipose tissue and to a lesser extent in colon, immune system, and the retina.PPARγ full length (FL) protein is expressed and purified from Sf21 insect cells. The purity was determined using gel electrophoresis followed by coomassie staining. Ligand binding functionality was confirmed using a fluorescent-based ligand binding assay.
